Spain & Baleares: residents allowed to return, but under quarantine.

A new step in emergency step for residents.

Travelers arriving from abroad in Spain must nevertheless be placed in quarantine for 14 days upon arrival, according to an order from the Ministry of Health which will be effective from Friday, May 15.

Spain follows a large part of its European neighbors, like Italy, which have established quarantine periods for travelers entering its territories.

In the Iberian Peninsula, this measure was applied to the exceptional authorizations granted for the repatriation of Spaniards and residents in Spain from Italy.

The next step will be the arrival of all international travelers with many exceptions. It is advisable to contact your local consulate if you are abroad.
